President

George Hsu is the President of Eqqy Designs, which he founded in July 2004 and continues to oversee day-to-day operations, sales and marketing. Eqqy Designs continuously delivers quality service to ensure customer satisfaction and exceed expectations, a philosophy George applies to every project with the help of a very talented team.

Fun fact: George and ice cream are friends, especially when his other friend, Summer, visits.

Greg Chang
Vice President

Shortly after graduating from Simon Fraser University, Greg joined Eqqy Designs in September 2006. Aside from trying to explain how Economics makes the world go around, Greg is currently the Vice President and oversees all projects from planning to development and as well as the company finances.

Fun fact: Greg once ate 10 McChicken burgers at the McDonalds inside of Metropolis, Metrotown.

Lan Nguyen
Project Coordinator

Lan is a recent BCIT Marketing Communications graduate who joined Eqqy Designs in August 2009. She is super detail oriented and one of her pet peeves is tardiness, which makes her an excellent Project Coordinator! In her spare time, you can find her hanging out with her friends or playing with the loves of her life, her two nieces and nephew!

Dominic Wong
Creative Director

Graduated as an Interaction Design major and Communications minor at Simon Fraser University, Dominic's identity as a Creative Director and designer involves making sense and experience connections through photography, communication design, and purposeful branding.

Nevertheless you might remember Dominic as the guy who drink hot water, carries a wrestling belt to places, takes jumping pictures, quietly observes the way people behave and interact and is ridiculously organized.

Fun fact: Dominic continues to collect superhero action figures and does not like to be bothered when he's in design mode.

Damien Lee
Lead Web Developer

Damien joined Eqqy Designs in early 2008 and has since proven his capability and willingness to learn is infinite, earning him the reputation of a Lead Web Developer. While programming and web development are both Damien's hobby, and job; he loves and enjoys his work.

Damien is a little health conscious, which drives him to regularly jog a few kilometers to stay fit. "If you haven't got your health, you haven't got anything at all!", as they say.

Artem Shcherbakov
Web Developer

Artem joined Eqqy Designs as a Junior Web Developer in the latter of 2008 and has many skills hidden under his belt. Artem's favourite type of food is Russian Cuisine or in short, meat and potatoes.

During his free time, he enjoys a challenging game of chess, surfing the Internet, playing soccer or foosball!

Fun quote: "Lots of beer! And meat!", says Artem.

Carla Matos
Web Developer

Carla graduated from Intec University with a Computer Science Degree and joined Eqqy Designs in April 2009. Carla was hired to help develop back-end systems and dynamic websites. During her free time, she likes to cook and spend time with her family and friends but while at Eqqy, Carla can cook up websites with a snap of her fingers!

Jun Kim
Web Developer

Jun joined Eqqy Designs in June 2009 shortly after arriving in Canada earlier in the year. Jun graduated with a Minor in Computer Engineering and a Major in Communication Engineering from Daejin University in Korea. He is very eager to learn anything related to computer programming and enjoys taking pictures or learning Capoeira during his free time to stay healthy.

Kathy Chung
Visual Designer

Kathy joined Eqqy Designs in early 2009. After completing and obtaining a Bachelor of Communication Design degree from Emily Carr University in Vancouver, Kathy has been indulging herself in design ever since. She thinks design is a process in progress. For her, design is not merely problem solving but also problem developing that requires consideration, iterative adjustment, and re-design.

Fun fact: Kathy reads bizarre news and collects random objects. She can sneeze with her eyes open... just kidding :P

Joey Chung
Visual Designer

Currently attending Emily Carr Institute of Art and Design, Joey continues to explore all mediums of art and practices a variety of art forms. He believes while the practice of traditional methods are important, digital art is also crucial in today's rapid technology advancement.

Joey also enjoys taking pictures, playing the piano, the guitar, watching the food network, and gaming.

Fun fact: Joey lost his "Right-Arrow" key on his Macbook Pro, but it still works!
