Why Internet Explorer is Risky

Waves of articles began to spring up as the software giant, Microsoft, takes a bit hit in their popular Internet browser, Internet Explorer. The report is that there is a dangerous exploit that affects Internet Explorers from version 5 up to the latest version 8 beta.

The security breach allows malicious code entered into a website to “hi-jack” or take over your computer which includes potentially obtaining your passwords.

Security professionals highly recommend users to temporarily switch their Internet browser to Firefox, Opera, Chrome or any other browsers that are currently not affected by this security breach.

Moving Forward

While continuing to shape and mold the infrastructure of our Vancouver Web Design business, we continued to obtain web design and development contracts from all over Vancouver’s Lower Mainland. Another insight into our work as some of our work were previously unpublished as they were not the final chosen designs; but we think it would be an interesting part of our work to do a little show-and-tell. Some original designs have been altered to fit our clients vision and the final outcome may not look like the original design.

MP4 Accessories Inc.

After a few additional contracts in between, including Stormtech Clothing and Champion Canada we were thirsty for new work and MP4 Accessories came answered the call for us. MP4 Accessories Inc. was a company that sold at a wholesale price of jeweleries including but not limited to rings, earrings, bracelets and much more. A logo was provided to us while we helped develop a design from scratch.

Going a little bit further back in our time line, we had the opportunity to work with a modeling company based in Richmond, BC that provided modeling and etiquette services. We were able to come up with a few draft designs below as again, these were previously unpublished so this would be considered a VIP sneak peak.

The Early Days

Since the beginning of time, perhaps not time, but the establishment of the Eqqy brand, we have evolved into an established and respected web site design, print marketing design, and web site development firm.

Throughout our exciting adventure, we have met and connected with a lot of wonderful people and we would like to thank them for their support and continued support.

Unfortunately, due to the nature of the web, websites will come and go but we have a great collection of custom website designs that were never previously published. Our design team is one of the best we have ever worked with – super talented and creative. As we move forward, so does their creativity – a growing process of which is lead by our customers bright vision.

Today, we would like to display some of our unpublished draft designs and as we go along, you can also see the evolution of our designs.

Buck ‘n’ a Bit

A custom designed website with the famous black and red colour theme made simple and easy to navigate. This was a design that enforces an already existing brand and theme including photography services.

ZiLife Co., Ltd.

An even earlier design, probably one of our first contracts was an international company that imports and exports gift and promotional lifestyle products.

ZiLife was looking for a very creative, out-of-ordinary logo that reflected their company and the products they carried. A quick view of their retail store in a very busy mall in Taiwan.

Vancouver Web Design – Eqqy Designs

Through lots of hard work and a few thousand cups of coffee, it’s here. We’re very proud to announce the official release of our new website. Many months of hard work, sweat and dedication was put forth to create our new project and we’re very happy with the outcome.

Eqqy Designs is an Innovative Communications Agency that provides professional services such as; websites, print design, web development, and custom web applications just to name a few.

From a home-based office two years ago, we moved into a new office in Richmond, BC. Our first task was to hire additional help that enables us to grow in the direction where the demand was. During this phase of our growth, we began the planning stages of our expansion by laying out the basic fundamentals of how our infrastructure would work.

This included things such as a new website, a customer portal, online billing, credit card processing and a project management system. Having an infrastructure as such enables a better communication gateway for our clients while increasing our efficiency.

During the process, our client-base grew, we’ve hired more designers and developers, and moved into a newer and bigger office. Everything was going well except for the delayed release of our website due to one of the greatest things possible – a growing client-base.

Though our website was a much anticipated release, we had to make sure our priority was our clients. Our team worked really hard and spent every second they had available completing our project and we’ve officially reached that day today.

We would like to thank all of our clients for their support as we continue to strive for perfection each step we take.
